Re: June 14 1940, KG2 Losses
The only KG 2 loss that day was due to ground fire near Brillon but a Do 17P-1 from 4.(F)/11 was shot down by fighters near Neufchateau and a Stab./KG 77 Do 17 Z near Chaumont also due to fighters; would these match?

Re: June 14 1940, KG2 Losses
Thank you Chris to take time to answer. Seems i've made many errors in my first post. The plane is a Do17 but was downed on june 15 1940, maybe shooted down by french Curtiss H-75.
I've just found information about a lost Do17 from 1.(H)/21 fo this date . Any information could help ! |

Re: June 14 1940, KG2 Losses
There were 4 KG 2 casualties on 15 Jun 40, 3 due to Flak and one returned damaged by fighters. 4/11 crew were Fw Gottfried Egel-F, Fw Kurt Schmidt-B, Ufw Hans Hummenberger-BF all killed. I have no loss for 1.(H)/21 but I do for 1.(F)/13 which crashed at Altwasser killing crew; no cause given
