![]() I read online that Wilhelm Engel was credit with 21 night victories while serving with NJG-4 and NJG-6. He was a German Cross in Gold holder. What did he do after WWII? I forgot what was his highest wartime rank before WWII was over?

Re: Wilhelm Engel, DKiG holder
Hi Edward
Highest rank was Oberleutnant. Don't know what he did after the war, but he did survive it. Twenty confirmed "kills" at night, plus two unconfirmed. Regards Johannes |
