P-61 Black Widow, "Little Audrey," 422nd NFS, in Florenes, Belgium, 1945
Hi!
How could I find out the name and rank of the pilot and R/O of the P-61 B-15 Black Widow, 42-39672, "Little Audrey", from the 422nd NFS, in Florennes, Belgium, in early 1945? ![]() This P-61 was named after a nurse serving near the 422nd base. Thank you very much! Franklin Last edited by Ferreira; 31st May 2025 at 14:48. |

Hello,
I have an Ltn. Jmes Thompson and as R/O Ltn. Joseph Downey. Ship has later in 1946 an accident at Wiesbaden Airfield/Germany when one blade from the left propeller has broken about 2/3 way down from the tip. h. |

Thank you. I found a small image that I can't insert here, with a pilot, Audrey (I presume), and a crew chief, but without any indication of names, date, or place.
