Medal card says he was from Fairbury, Nebraska, so enlistment date of 23 Dec 1940 most likely: https://aad.archives.gov/aad/record-...=1&rid=2047522

He had ASN 20738384 first.

Transferred from Nebraska National Guard to active duty on said date.
