Chandos Publications Update - 29 Sept. 2025

Chandos Publications Limited - fb
29 September 2025

"You may be wondering what Chandos has up its sleeve for the next couple of years . . . officially, there are three books in the pipeline:

Due for release around April 2026 is Chris Goss' examination of Operation 'Donnerkeil', the air [and sea] element of the Channel Dash (Operation 'Cerberus').

Then, around August 2026, Luigino Caliaro should deliver his book on the Corpo Aereo Italiano in the Battle of Britain and on the Channel Front.

Around January 2027, Hans-Heiri Stapfer is due to deliver his completely revised, expanded and updated book on captured US aircraft in the Luftwaffe, entitled (provisionally) Under Two Eagles – American Aircraft in Luftwaffe and Axis Service.

[Stapler's original book was Strangers in a Strange Land, Vol. 1: U.S. Aircraft in German Hands during WW II (Squadron / Signal 1987)]

. . . unofficially we are also working on major titles on the Bf 108 and Bf 109, as well as our first purely military title on the Estonian SS Panzergrenadier-Battalion ‘Narwa’.

Also bubbling away in the background are more issues of 'Axis Wings', as well as a prospective project on the He 59.

And . . . last but not least, the He 219 project may be on the back-burner, but that doesn't mean it has been abandoned. We can only update you on that one if and when there's progress!

Thank you for all of your support and positive comments so far."

Rich

Several people then asked:

"Any reprint of Kauz Night Fighters???" [2022 printing is sold out]

Chandos: "maybe . . ."
