Cause of death of Beaufighter LX928/D

Colleagues.
I found a contradictory entry from November 13, 1943, about the loss of a No. 47 Squadron Beaufighter LX928/D.
Shot down by fighter attacking convoy near Leros. Starboard
engine on fire.
Drove ashore on Agios Nikolaos beach after being hit by return fire in a bomber engagement. Squadron Leader Stanley Muller-Rowland Sqn
Leader (pilot) and Lieutenant Commander J. D. Andrews were rescued by a fishing boat and returned to their unit via Turkey.

Shot down by Ltn. Emil Clade 7./JG27 N Levita.

Please help me determine the cause of this aircraft's loss. If I understand correctly, it was a joint mission with No. 603 Squadron to Leros, where No. 603 Squadron also lost an aircraft LX977/Z due to engine failure.

47 Sqn's F540 is here:

Clade's claim was 0855hrs while 47 Sqn was airborne 1340-1830hrs

It won't open for me. Maybe it's blocked in Ukraine?

It won't open at all. The power and communications situation in Ukraine is extremely poor right now. I can't even open many of the stashes I've been making for a long time. That's why I'm asking for help.

Re: Cause of death of Beaufighter LX928/D

According to the F540 it was return fire from the Ju 88; quite a descriptive account of what happened

Thank you. The only details I'm interested in are the participants, time, location, and outcome of the fight.

This aircraft crashed south of Crete at 10:42. The takeoff was at 07:00. It was probably a morning sortie by 603 Squadron, and Klade made his claim based on the encounter at 08:55.
