Bf.109 Eismeer Front loss, help with photos. - Luftwaffe and Allied Air Forces Discussion Forum

Dear forum members!

The Bf.109 in these photos was lost somewhere around Murmansk or Karelia area, looking for addition information about it.

1. 1. What variant of Bf.109 is this?
2. 2. Note the circle on the right of Balkenkreuz, is this unit emblem or what is this?
3. 3. Are the circumstances of the loss of this aircraft known? Dates, pilot, unit?

I appreciate any help with these photos!

This is plane of uffz. Rennemann (wr.nr. 7520) shot down 8.1.43 during try to attack shipping in Murmansk (plane has bomb pylon). Shot down by captain Fomtchenkov from 19 GIAP. Force-landed at west bank of lake Njaljawr near soviet VNOS outpost Nr. 7314. Pilot captured.
