US pilots autographs

Hello,

I bought a second-hand copy of R. Bruce Porter's "Ace - A Marine night-fighter pilot...", which surprisingly was signed by a number of US aces/pilots.
I managed to identify a number of them (see attached images) but there are someones that I can't figure out.
Is there anyone with ideas on the pilots?

Best regards/Håkan

Re: US pilots autographs

Pretty nice!
Second Page in the middle, below "Check Six" is Cmdr Randy Duke Cunningham, VF-96, sole USN Ace in Vietnam.

Re: US pilots autographs

The ones I can see are I think

Brig/General Michael Jackson (first name looks more like Peter!)

George T Buck (under Joe Foss)

Herbert J Valentine USMC

Donald "Flash" Gordon VF-10

John R Alison

Doug Champlin

Possibly Capt Willis Bennett "Bill" Ballance USMC - but not clear if he is right could be AI playing tricks

There is one that I can only see as a very rude remark (Dick S.....) but that probably says more about me

Regards

Martin

Re: US pilots autographs

P.3 possibly Harley Vaughn 82FG.
P.4 only 1 "Champlin" credited with victories, Fred F. (475FG); Doug and Christina may be family ?

Re: US pilots autographs

Hello again Nick!

Thanks for the additions!
I guess that Doug Champlin is the Doug from "Doug Champlin's Fighter Museum", which famously used to have gaterings of fighter pilots before the closing of the museum in 2003, i.e. the autographs were collected at one or several of these events.

Best regards/Håkan

Re: US pilots autographs

The one bugging me is p.4 under "Beebe"; I believe this is John S. Stewart 23FG (c/o 76FS).
Martin... not sure about Jackson, there are 15 in Study 85 and this doesn't look like any first name. This is not a criticism though.
Regards
Nick
