Lost P-38s
Hi Folks,
does anybody have info on the 2 lost 14th FG P-38L-1-LO planes in Yugoslavia on March 18, 1945? Serials: 44-25041 44-25053 Loss area, SQUADRON NUMBER, names of the pilots and their fate? Also looking for info on the SQUADRON number (which will tell us the color markings) of F-5E (5th PRG) lost on November 6, 1944, pilot 2Lt. Clarence J. Baker (KIA) at Bakonybel, Kertesko (Hu). Many thanks, Gabor |

Re: Lost P-38s
Hi Alex,
thanks for your reply. It is very interesting, since as far as I know this PRG used letter codes, not numbers on the planes. Unfortunately I have not too much data on their marking system yet. Thans again, Gabor |
