Helmut Lent victory 6 July 1941
Hello,
I am trying to research a combat report I have for a Whitley (of No.10 Squadron?) that was shot down at about 00:56 hours on the 6th July 1941 by an aircraft flown by Helmut Lent of NJG1. I believe two of the crew were found dead with the aircraft but any information about the crew would be very gratefully received. If anyone has a copy of Chorley for 1941, this may be what I am looking for. Thank you in advance to anyone who can help me. Regards, Andy |
