Zeitzündgerät ZZG1/24

I am looking for information about a Zeitzündgerät ZZG1/24. I have a part with the FL number 50970-28 and I was told that this is from a Zeitzündgerät, but I was not able to find out anything about it. BTW this part was found at the crash site of a Me 110G-2.

Thanks in advance!
Daniel

Re: Zeitzündgerät ZZG1/24

The name suggests a fuse or igniter with a timer.

Hmm, after some thought it occurs to me that this item may be used to set the timing on a timed fuze unit. If it was a fuze it be called a Zeitzunder followed by the number of that fuze unit.
