Briegleb´s claims on Beaufighters - Dec. 1944
Good night to all! It has been already posted early (but I did not find on the Search area of the Forum, although I have searched almost half an hour ). Well, I am looking to identify the two Beaufighters claimed by Oberleutnant Briegleb on 28/29 December and 29/30 December 1944 N and NW of Borkum.
It seems that the first machine was from 254 Squadron. Please, could someone give me the serial number, codes and name of crews of those RAF machines? Glad in advance. PS: He also claimed a Vickers Wellington on the night of 2/3 December 1944, although there is no RAF loss recorded. It could be that was the machine of 23 Squadron flown by W/C A M Murphy, DSO*, DFC, CdG*? It crashed near Zwolle? Any news on that claim too?
