What happened to Denis Barnham of Malta fame?

Hi folks. I've just finished 'One Man's Window', by Denis Barnham. Absolutely fabulous book about his days fighting over Malta. Googling however reveals nothing about him after he was posted home tour expired.

Does anyone know???

Thanks.

Andy.

According to Shores & Williams' "Aces High"

Quote:
Unwell as his tour reached its conclusion, he was flown home to the UK in June. He then instructed at 57 OTU until December 1944, when he served briefly with 126 Squadron as flight commander. Details of his subsequent career are not known
However, I did find a LG entry for his retirement from the RAF due to ill health (19/04/1945):

Denis Barnham was a much respected Art Master at Epsom College, Surrey, from 1949 to 1972. He was 2IC of the CCF RAF section and rarely mentioned his outstanding role as a spitfire pilot in Malta. He was much liked as a teacher for his patience and "worldly" manner in contrast to many others with little real-world experience.
