A FW 190 shot down by a La 5
I would appreciate help in the following matter:
During the day of 18.10 or possibly 17.10, 1944, Soviet Flight Officer Boris Nikolaevic Chubokov shot down a FW 190. He belonged to the 805 IAP, flying a La 5 at that time, escorting Il 2’s. The region, where this happened, probably was Krasnaja Jaruga-Brjansk-Zjabrovka-Minsk-Lida-Kaunas, as written down in his log book. Any additional information would be great – most of all of course regarding this shot down FW 190! Cheers Hans |
