Who was StaKap 3./ZG26 on 30.8.40?

Hello,

Trying to caption some photos for the data base. On August 30, 1940, a Bf110C-4, U8+AL, of 3./ZG26 force-landed on the beach at Cape Griz-Nez France. Several photos exist of this incident, including one published on P.158 of Luftwaffe Colours Battle of Britain, Phase Two, by Eric Mombeek. The caption in that publication speculates that this aircraft "would normally have been flown by the Staffelkapitän, of 3./ZG26, Oblt. Ulrich Freiherr von Gravenreuth..." I agree that this might have been flown by the 3./ZG26 Staffelkapitän, but it appears that von Gravenreuth was not in that position with ZG 26 at the time. In von Eimannsberger's "Zerstörer Gruppe" P. 152-3 he indicates that von Gravenreuth was transferred to 15.(Z)/LG1 on Aug 7, 1940, from "the Zerstörer Replacement Training Staffel at Copenhagen-Vaerlöse." He was killed while leading 15 Staffel on the disasterous mission of 27.9.40. So who WAS the Stakap of 3./ZG26 following the death of Oblt. H-J Kirchohoff, who was shot down into the Channel and killed on 18.8.40?

Any help would be appreciated.
