Hello all,
Could it be possible to identify this plate from a German's fighter plane crashed in 1943 in Normandy ? It will be a great help. Here some info about the fate of pilot and a/c : -a/c (109 or 190) was shot down by an allied fighter -pilot killed -pilot recovered by Germans after the crash -date of the fact unknown Here the info on the plate : Sach Nr : 109.621-02 Werk Nr : 27675 / 1248 Hersteller : Jau Well anyone know what's that ? and if there is any luck to identify more precisaly if it was a Me-109 or a Fw-190 ? Could it be possible that the Sach Nr corresponded to a Me-109 because 109 appears ?? Any help are welcome and much appreciated. Thanks in advance Regards Loic |
