Karl Otto Max Barth was Beobachter and plane commander in 3./506. He claimed six ship sunk in 26.8-11.11.40 (36000 grt). In fact he sunk 4 (21151 grt)

26.8.40: plane S4+GL, Oblt.z.S. Barth, ofw. Nass, uffz. Bartels
30.8.40: all same
8.9.40: plane S4+LL, crew same.

Ofw Wilhelm Nass was the pilot while Uffz Engelbert Bartels was the BF. Both had the Gold Frontflugspange while Nass had the EP. Both POW 16 Nov 41 still with 3./506
