Ju88S-3 interior photos?
Hi all,
I’m currently building a model of Ju88S-3 W.Nr.330897 coded L1+AP from Lehrgeschwader 1. It crashed at Chievres on 15 August 1944 after being damaged in combat, with the pilot succumbing to his wounds after landing. The aircraft was a total writeoff. Does anyone have photos available of the bombardier’s compartment of the S model? I’ve got two photos of it that were taken by members of the 368th FG between October and December 1944 when they flew from Chievres. Right now I’m starting on the interior and want to get the bombardier’s position correct. How different is it from the A model? Also, I’ve seen a few shots with VS9 props installed. Would this have been correct for a summer 1944 Ju88S-3, or was this a later upgrade? Lastly, would the paint scheme be the standard 70/71/65? Thanks!
