Werner Schüller 3./JG 27

This is all the information I can find -

Bf 109 E-3 (W.Nr. 3225) 'Yellow 11' flown by Werner SCHULLER of 3./JG 27
Werner Schüller was taken as POW on 6 September 1940

Can anybody add to this please eg. was he rescued from the channel or where he came down ?

Much appreciated & thanks.........
