Translation help please - LG1 Photo
Hi chaps, would appreciate if anyone knows what is written on the back of this photo. Came with a set from a 4/LG1 airgunner Uffz Richard Hackethal KIA 12 Apr 1942 in L1+GM. His usual mount was L1+FM so I assume the FM refers to his aircraft, the photo actually shows a ship from a JU88, but is not very clear. Thank you. |

Re: Translation help please - LG1 Photo
The complete text is "Im Morgengrauen vernichteten wir den Geleitzug FM" = "In the first light of day we exterminated the convoy FM".
