Hello
Does anyone have any details of Do 18 (or another German flying boat) loss on or around 24.05.1941 in ETO?
Thanks

Franek, am not at home but here is what I have. I will check when I get home later tonight to make sure this is all and what I've got here is correct. In addition to these flying boats there are also several seaplanes, from memory mostly He 115s but one or two Ar 196s
Regards

Hallo

The last losses (BV 138 / 2013+2014) from Adam was the same plane. This plane, type B-1, wears skz CP + CP and wnr 2013. It crashed because engine problems.

The BV 138 B-1 / 6H + KH / WNr. 2009 crashed on 12. May 1944 near Kopenhagen/DK.

I can assure you that there were no serious damage or loss to any Luftwaffe seaplane between 22.05.41 (He 59) and 27.05.41 (ar 196).
If you can prove otherwise, I will love to eat that camel.

It is too. My mistake. Thanks for picking that up.

Franek, what exactly are you after?

A Do 18 was claimed by RAF fighters on this date.

Franek,
Can't help you on this one, sorry. I have nothing concerning any seaplanes - Do 18 or otherwise - encountering enemy opposition around this time frame.

Out of interest which unit/crew made the claim and in what area?

Adam
