100 Year Old Axis Aces
I know of two Allied/American aces who have reached 100 years, as noted on the Allied thread (the recently deceased Mike Gladych, and Fritz Payne). The editor of the Bulletin of the American Fighter Aces Association will be preparing an article on these two. I am interested in learning of any Axis aces who have reached 100 years old. I would appreciate it if you could supply the actual date of birth, and if deceased, the date of death. I was told that there was one referenced in the Osprey book on the Fiat CR-32 aces of the Spanish Civil War, but I was unable to find any reference in my copy.
Enjoy! Frank.
