17.12.1943 IV./JG 27
Dear All.
Accordig to Prien, on 17.12.1943 the IV./JG 27 had two combats. In the morning, 4 Me 109s clashed around Cape Rodonit with 5 Spitfire and lost 3 Me 109s G-6. In the afternoon, at about 15:00, 4 Me 109s fought with P 47s of the 57th FG near Metkovic and lost 2 Me 109s G-6 (the Americans claimed 3 Me 109s). Do you know who claimed the 3 Me-109s in the first combat? Best regards. Marco
