460thBG B-25G shot down 22 Feb 1944?
Hi guys
Reading Roy Nesbit's ARMED ROVERS, he mentions on page 196 that four B-25Gs of 460thBG co-operated with RAF Beaufighters in an attack on the M/V Lisa off the north coast of Crete. He also states that one B-25G was shot down. 1) was the 340thBG involved or is this a typo for 310thBG? 2) what was the identity of the B-25G lost, and its crew? 3) he also mentions that the B-25Gs shot down two attacking Bf109s/Ju88s? I can't seem to find anyhting on the net. Cheers Brian
