Help needed:Arado AR 196 loss Jonsvatnet/Trondheim Norway
Hi!
There is a rumour regarding one Arado went down in Jonsvatnet sometime under the war 1940-1945, the exact year is still unknown,but rumours I have heard is that the plane went straight to the ice with the crew onboard. The plane was under the search before salvaging the more known Ju88(U4+TK) and Casimirs Heinkel H-111(6N+NH), found on the bottom of the lake. I have confirmation about the find but no more information is given because it is told to be a wargrave. Is there any way to search or confirm that this is legit or just a rumour? Think this is a tuff on because of lack of information... Any help is much appreciated . Thanks! John Fredrik
