Kommando Nowotny Me262 Question
Hi,
I am trying to identify which number the Me262 flown by Oberfähnrich Willi Banzhaff on 1st November 1944 carried. It was Werk Nummer 110386 but I can't find reference to the number it would have carried (if indeed it was marked with a number at all?). Oberfähnrich Willi Banzhaff shot down a 20th Fighter Group P-51 on this date before being shot down himself. He bailed out successfully on this occasion but was KIA three days later.
