See "Battle over Malta" by Anthony Rogers - Page's 95/6 Ju 88 (0564 ?/ R4+HH ) Crew: Leutnant Wilhelm Brauns(Pilot) POW wounded/injured Gefreiter Johannes Matuschka (Wireless Operator) + Obergeffreiter(or Unteroffizier) Erwin Heese(Flight Engineer) POW wounded/injured Unit: 1 Nachtjaggeschwader 2 Place: Bin Gemma(Gozo) Date/Time: 19 December 1941/1058-1148 hours. One of three Ju88's it carried only incendiaries. It seems it had Italian markings. It was their fourth sortie over Malta. Until quite recently the aircraft's canopy and other fragments could be found in situ where it crashed.( book published in 2000). Alex
