Re: Bf109 crash Rockanje, Holland 02-08-1943
The Dutch war place isn't my interest so I haven't ordered an copy of the KTB, I collected the informations inside (only Bf 109 and Fw 190). I hope I'm in the archive a second time this year. I make copies and send you an scan of this pages.

Re: Bf109 crash Rockanje, Holland 02-08-1943
In my last visit I checked again and again but the unit, sign and the name "Pormann" are clear readable. Another point would be the clerk hadn't heard the name right ...

Re: Bf109 crash Rockanje, Holland 02-08-1943
Hi, Rasmussen.
Trying to connect the loss you reference to to GenQu records. Do you have a Werknummer? Or could you post the original information AS it was written in German? Regards, Andreas B

Sorry for being absent for a while (kids school holidays.)
I don´t have Werknumber or anything else. Only reference I have is "1943-08-02,Bf109, Rockanje (ZW Moordijkseweg)" |

Re: Bf109 crash Rockanje, Holland 02-08-1943
Hi, all.
I wonder if the record in the GenQu lists is this one, but with the location erronously recorded: http://www.ahs.no/ref_db/lw_loss_pub...?lossid=123360 The one following in your KTB extract is obviously this one: http://www.ahs.no/ref_db/lw_loss_pub...?lossid=123682 The unit is correctly identified in my opinion, as they have given the base location which fit II./JG 2 also. Regards, Andreas B
