Re: Infos about a French Pilot
It's possible that he was killed on Oxford NM285 of 15 (P)AFU. Crashed on overshoot ½ mile N of RAF Long Newnton (flaps raised prematurely on night overshoot and hit trees). His matricule was 36179, and do believe that he initially was buried in Bath (Haycombe) Cemetery, Englishcombe, Somerset. Could this match with the crashlocation ?
I'm also looking for his rank and his present burial location in France. Regards, Henk. |
