Re: BV138 25.March 45
On 25.03.1945 the BV 138C-1 W.Nr. 0310050 St.Kz. BD+EL of Erg.Fl.St. (See) landed on lake Femlingen nar Växjö after having lost their bearings during a training flight near Bornholm in the Baltics. The crew were Ofw. Karl Gustav Klein (pilot), Ofw. Josef Burger (observer), Ofw. Alfred Roass (radio-operator), Ofw. Bruno Lojewski (flight mechanic) and Fw. Heinrich Dessel (gunner). All were interned in Sweden. The aircraft was equipped with FuG 200 "Hohentwiel" radar. It was later flown to the F.2 Wing at Hägernäs near Stockholm were it remained until scrapped in 1948. The aircraft also carried a large numeral "5" on the rudder.

Count me in, too (related to Central Europe, mainly Hungary).
![]() Or, a location in the archives where it can be ordered from would also help.

Re: BV138 25.March 45
Hello! I talked to some veterans at F2 Hägernäs in sweden , just north of stockholm. They told me the BW 138 came , they run some engine tests ( taken out them from the aircraft) later they were given to technical schools. The pilotseats were used in homebuilt gliderairplanes!! It was then robbed for all eřuipment. And scrapped in 48 , later on the the T2 ( HE 115) were scrapped , but there was still a Do24 flying for then swedish def. but I guess it was scrapped later on.
I have some pics of this somewhere. Give me some time and I will show them. Best Chris |
