P-47s: 42-26044 and 44-19718
Hi
Did anyone research the following losses? P-47D-22-RE I7-? 42-26044 of 493rd FS, 48th FG. B.J. Smith (KIA) and P-47D-28-RE G8-? 44-19718 of 378th FS, 362nd FG. Lt. T.L.Dean (POW). Basically I would love to know if any pictures of those two A/C exist (wearing mentioned units' code letters), did anyone research their crash sites and what was the Smith's last rank? Your help would be much appreciated |

Frankie
All these details were known to me before, now I need help with the pictures of those A/C taken after they were transferred from 56th FG and crash sites excavation. Cheers |
