Re: Spit IX NM845. 4 sqdn SAAF

From Robertson, NH845 was a Spitfire F or FR.XIV.

From the same source, NM845 was a cancelled Spitfire FR.XIV. It was originally an order for 70 aircraft from Vickers Armstrong at Chattis Hill, with only the first 10 listed as actually built. I have seen other cancelled blocks where there is some confusion between what was actually built and what was not. This may be another case.
