One known double victory, a Wellington 1 km S of Brest and a Lancaster on 25 June, 1943. Another double victory on 2 December, 1943; two Lancasters at Berlin. Another double, a "4 mot" and a Lancaster S of Mailly le Camp on 4 May, 1944. A "4 mot" S of Elbeuf on 3 June, 1944. A "4 mot" at Samer-Desvres on 28 June, 1944. A "4 mot" at St Leu and one at Blangy on 8 July, 1944. A Lancaster near Königsberg on 30 August, 1944. His 46th, a Halifax at Danzig on 6 January, 1945. On the night of 16/17 March, 1945, he was shot down in his G-6 by a NF Mosquito XXX, piloted by F/Lt and Night Fighter Ace, Dennis Hughes of RAF No 239 Sq.. Suffered slight injuries from a hard landing deploying his chute too early. Nos 47 & 48 a B-17 and a Lancaster at Danzig on 14 February, 1945.
