Yes, I can see why. The Stab/St.G. 2 entry came from the excellent "Battle of France, Then and Now" by Cornwell.

However, those spot references that you obtained from Emmerling seem to clinch that he was definitely with 2./St.G. 2. The Stab reference must be either a temporary assignment or an outright error.

....and Ju 87D must also be an error for May 1940. Do we have a WNr.?
