From my limited experience on Luftwaffe loss reports, it seems to me that they will only list the crew losses, and not the passengers.

And in this case, I guess that the goal was to load as many children as possible, not to be sure to have all of them well registered on a boarding list, so I guess the full list (or even number) of victims will never be known.

So it is well people the Do 24 given by Brian was the one reported lost with the children.
