The Il-2 that is listed in the thread for the 27Apr45 is also listed in Forsyth's book JV 44 as "in the vicinity of Strausberg," and above the Oder.

Re: Steinhoff JV 44 victories

Hello.
According to my information and sources should Steinhoff have these fights in April:

5. 4. 45 Stranbing 10.30 a. m. JV 44 shot down: 7 x Viermott
8. 4. 45 Stuttgart 3 – 4 p. m. JV 44 shot down: 3 x B-17, 1 x B-24, 1 x P-51
17. 4. 45 Munchen ? JV 44 shot down: 6 x B-17

Does anyone of you know USAAF´ s losts?

Thank you.
