Bostons/A-20 South of Pianosa 20.03.1944
JG53 claimed 2 Bostons on this date at around midday. Were there any Commonwealth of USAAF losses that correspond.

Interesting. Two B-26 damaged might be a fair assessment. At this time the LW seem to be becoming more optimistic about their results, and Landt of JG53 who made one claim had a similar engagement later in the war where his judgement was seriously questionable.
