Operation 'Remould' & 616 Squadron 1944

Hi,

On November 26th 1944 No.3 Group carried out a exercise with 40 Lancaster's to test the RAF escort squadron's could cope with the new German jets being encountered while carrying out daylight raids.

Over RAF Manston the formation, and its RAF Escort of Spitfire and Mustang's were attacked by Meteor's of 616 Squadron, so the report suggests. I would like to confirm that 616 Squadron did participate, and how many aircraft were involved from 616.

Any help appreciated.
