The cast was as follows: OC-2, A-7953, DeLacy/Davey OC-2, A-7956, Masters/Anderson Five OC-2s of VO-10M, San Diego, began a formation change at 3,000' from vee to column. DeLacy, number 3, correctly followed the number 2, but Masters, number 4, made the mistake of also heading towards the number 2, instead of trailing DeLacy. This caused the mid-air collision.

Thanks that. As far a I know it covers all US Marine Parachute incidents in 1930.... Now working through the Navy ones, but getting more background information first.. Paul |
