It seems a possibility that the pilot managed to make a forced landing. It doesn't look like it's a human bailing out but stray equipment instead.
There is a JG-2 Bauchlandung on May 4,1942 but it's a Bf-109. In JG26: Volume 1 There is mention of a "One First Gruppe Fw-190 belly landed on Arques after sustaining damage from a Spitfire" on May 4,1942. It seems this is a likely candidate. |
