It's needle in the hay-stack indeed. Hard to find locations, hard to match units, even if some soviet records are accessible. On July 23, 1943 many soviet fighter regiment suffered losses, such as: 160 иап 287 иап 287 иап 31 иап 515 иап 523 иап 63 гв.иап 728 иап 85 гв.иап, etc. 4th Air Army lost IL-2m3 S/N: 1877843, 7212, etc. Same for 1942. Please provide some data on opponent soviet fronts, or air divisions in order to map their appropriate losses. |
