Re: Manufacture date of Bf109 E7
And this very Messerschmitt Bf 109 E7, WNr. 5145, with the fuselage marking "5" red, belonging 2/ JG101 crashed on 11 November 1943, in the Pyrénées.
Its pilot, Kurt Riemer, is buried at the cemetery of Berneuil en Charente, grave N°301. The remains of this aircraft were discovered recently in the Pyrnenees moutains and are exhibited in Toulouse museum: Aeroscopia. If anyone has an idea on how contact the family of Kurt Riemer...
