Because the St Kap 2nd from left us in the book. I did mention this to P&S and as we say never judge a book by its cover!

I am not overly concerned as it doesn't say MTO on the cover and the cover is illustrative of fighter pilots (all of whom did fly in the BofB) and the aircraft they flew. In the book, the subsequent careers and fates of the 204 pilots are detailed so it covers all Fronts
