Heinrich Hoffmann,RK mit EL
Heinrich Hoffmann went missing on Oct. 1941 over the Eastern Front after he had 63 air to air victories to his credit. He may have some unconfirmed victories as well. How was Hoffmann was shot down?

You mean Ofw Heinrich Hoffmann of 3./JG 77 and 12./JG 51 missing 3 Oct 41?. Googling his name comes up with a possible cause and name but I am sure that better men than I will be able to confirm one way or another

GQM loss return 7 Oct 1941 item 39 and JFV 6/I: 3.10.41 12./JG 51 Ofw Heinrich Hoffmann + Luftkampf IL-2, 10 km südlich Jelnja, 100% Bf 109 F-2 12876 braune 2. Regards Leo
