Now that sounds great. I hope it is not seriously coroded. You have to find the missing canopy anyway. I am not sure if assignment could be verified by the WNr if aircraft suffered no previous damage, but I believe old markings may be a clue. Have you found anything in terms of papers in the cockpit? This was one of most amazing finds when a Fw 190F was recovered in Poland.

As far as I know, no papers was found in the cockpit. We have several clues about the identity, but to be sure, we need the Werk.no. I will be back in a few days to tell more Best Olve |
