Stig,
I could not refrain myself...but maybe the bullets entered by the open window for refreshment that the crew (hottly pursued) may have opened? Or....the French pilots, like Fonck were using few bullets and were fully trained snipers, so 1 shot one kill. Now returning to Historical grounds...it is interesting to see such divergence regarding to the damages on books published by great Historians. A. |
