Arthur Trumbull Warner (009395) AvCad, USMCR; designated Naval Aviator #11817 – 3/3/42 2LT, USMCR; DOR in 1 Jan 1945 Lineal List USMC/USMCR Officers - 1/9/1942 MAJ, USMCR; DOR in 1 Jan 1945 Lineal List USMC/USMCR Officers - 6/30/1944 As noted in Frank Olynyk’s Stars and Bars, while commander of VMF-215 MAG-46 MCAS El Toro, he was injured in an SBD landing crash as a passenger on 12/6/1944. His injuries were such that he was eventually medically retired in September 1947.
