Here is his grave in the Golden Gate Cemetary.
The name on the gravestone is William V Bedord.. https://www.findagrave.com/memorial/...lliam-v-bedord His middle name was Vance. He was born in Canada. His draft registration from 1940 can be found once you have the name correct.
