Hi,

concerning the emblems there are errors. I saw the sample pages and e.g. 3 out of 4 depicted KG2 emblems were used just after BoB. The emblem of stab/KG2 was wrongly assigned by the author to 4./KG2.

I read also some text and e.g. on 31.8.40 the author wrote that approx. 30 bombers of I./KG3 and II./KG3 were engaged. In fact I./KG3 sent up a force of 9 Do 17Z against Eastchurch and II./KG3 engaged 31 Do 17Z (but only 18 crews reached Hornchurch).

I wasn't going to mention this. The use of the diagonal nose band for KG 2 and fuselage band for KG 76 were also unique identifiers. KG 1 is a hard one to pin down with I Gruppe going to form III./KG 40 using II./KG 1 aircraft.........,
