Hi,
Definitely an H-3 if it is this WNr. I wouldn't worry too much about the unit codes as it may have been re-assigned prior to the crash, without time to alter the codes. If you have access to the wreckage it may be useful to us if you can find the actual radio codes which are usually on a small plate riveted to the frame below the decking, forward of the top (dorsal) gun position. These are shown as two capital letters, a + or -, and two more capital letters. Regards David |
